![]() If they redo IV through VI with the care they have for the first three, the soundtracks which are already legendary are going to be a real treat.Basically turn this on, fight a single battle and whatever character is in that battle will learn all of their special abilities including all the Magic in the game. The biggest highlight of all is the soundtrack so far. A lot of people like overwriting the English font with the Japanese one, but that's not so much a bug as a personal preference for not liking the narrower English font. I'm not sure if I'd call it a bug, but v-sync must also be enabled by the graphics driver too. ![]() The other is a very minor annoyance of needing to alt+enter for full screen mode on launch. One they definitely need to patch is some graphics going glitchy for certain Windows region settings, such as Spanish and several others. "Universe Sandbox" and a few other game makers did this in the past.why couldn't SquareEnix? The bugs in the current pixel remasters have nothing on the FFV and FFVI versions on Steam. Now if SquareEnix was smart, they would offer a free version or at least a heavily discounted game for the original FF6-Steam owners but at this point.hard pass on buying the game at full price. One thing the Pixel Remaster really has done well, for FFI anyway, is the new soundtrack. Though the GBA soundtrack is generally called inferior. At this point, the GBA version is the best way to play, IMO. Originally posted by Crosseyed Mie:This version is butt-ugly (though that's easily corrected with A World Reborn) and the hideous mobile-device menus (which can only be partially tweaked with AWR), and it has some nasty semi-rare bugs.īut if the first Pixel Remaster is anything to go by, the new version is unlikely to be bug-free, and that's on top of removing the bonus dungeons and Magicite.
